In November, our team went to Whistler, BC for a conference. There could not have been a better location for an eye care conference, considering the sights! The mountains that surrounded the beautiful village of Whistler were absolutely breathtaking. This conference was put on by OSI and included many wonderful learning experiences. There were many class options, from upcoming treatments for different eye ailments, to the fashion forecast for 2020. The technologies that are on the horizon are very interesting.
There are many new fashion trends that are surfacing in the eye fashion world. Although we do not know the Pantone colour of the year yet, we know to be on the look out for corals, turquoise, and of course, the ever-popular crystal acetates. The styles are new and exciting, including tulips and cat ears. The great thing is that we already feature many of these colours and styles in our clinic!
As we continue to grow as a practice, we will continue to learn and grow with the eye industry and bring you, our patients and clients, the best care possible!
