Dr. Poon earned her degree with honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science, where she was honoured with the Dr. Barbara Sivak Memorial Award. He also completed a rotation in Toronto under the direct mentorship of a seasoned optometrist with over 40 years of experience.
